Trinh Nguyen Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 10, 2025.
We celebrate the life of Trinh Nguyen, who passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, in Lake Mary, Florida. Born on November 24, 1968, in Saigon, Vietnam, Trinh was 56 years old.

Trinh's journey was one of resilience, determination, and grace. At the age of six, she emigrated from Saigon to the United States with her family. Embracing a new country filled with opportunity, she flourished in both her personal and professional life. She attended Manzano High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With a steadfast commitment to education, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico and later achieved a Master of Business Administration from Phoenix University-an accomplishment that reflected her dedication to lifelong learning.

Professionally, Trinh excelled as a procurement specialist. Her career spanned respected organizations such as Siemens, Northrop Grumman, and Veritas Technologies, where she brought diligence and expertise to every role. At the time of her passing, she served as Procurement Specialist III at the University of Central Florida-a position that spoke to her professionalism and capability.

Trinh is lovingly remembered by her husband, Fred Reyes; her parents, Xuan Van Nguyen and Nhan Thi Phan; her sisters Thu Nguyen and Trang Nguyen; her brother-in-law Jason O'Neill; and her niece and nephew, Josie and Benji O'Neill. Her beloved cat Misty also held a special place in her heart.

Those who knew Trinh will remember her as someone whose generosity knew no bounds. She consistently prioritized the happiness and well-being of others-a quiet selflessness that left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

Trinh had a keen appreciation for beauty in all its forms. Whether it was through fresh flowers arranged thoughtfully around her home or stylish clothing that expressed her personality, she cultivated elegance in everyday life. Her love for global cuisine fueled many joyful moments spent watching cooking shows or sampling new dishes. Staying active brought her energy and joy-she embraced with enthusiasm yoga sessions, zumba classes, hikes through nature's trails, and spirited games on tennis courts.

She loved spending time with friends and experiencing different cuisines and cultures through travel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a cancer research organization of your choice in honor of Trinh's life and legacy.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May it bring comfort to all who mourn her passing and inspiration to those who remember how fully she lived.
