TRINIDAD CONSTANCIO III

PALACIOS - Trinidad "Nito" Constancio III, 62, of Palacios, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008. He was born on Dec. 30, 1945, in Del Rio, to the late Trinidad Constancio Jr. and Guadalupe Hernandez-Constancio. He was a member of The Living Word Church.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army. He was awarded the following decorations and citations: two Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Cross of Gallantry. He had been a member of the Palacios High School State Champion Football Team.
He is survived by his daughters, Sara Trevino and Martha Valdez of Palacios; his son, Jaime Constancio of Port Aransas; his sisters, Rebecca Ottino of Palacios, Elida Valdez of San Jose, Calif., and Rosie Sanchez of Dallas; his brothers, Jesse Constancio of Palacios and Raymond Constancio of Stockton, Calif.; and his grandchildren, Jonah, Johnny Blade, Madilyn, and Jesse Ryan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eddie Constancio and Richard Constancio.
Vistation will be after 5 p.m. on Saturday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at The Living Word Church. Visitation will continue from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Tony Flores officiating.
Burial will military honors under the auspices of Veterans of Foreign Wars-Queen Hamlin Post No. 2467, Palacios, will be at Palacios Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonah Solis, Rudy Constancio, Mark Rodriguez, Samuel Constancio, Gary Constancio, Manuel Rodriguez, Jason Constancio, and Louis Anthony Martino.

My condolences go out to the family I remember the times,me my father-inlaw John Martino,Louis and Nito would going fishing and duck hunting. I will miss him.
