Troy Green Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 12, 2024.
Troy A. Green, age 63, was born in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, and passed away on February 24, 2024. His residence when passed was Upton, Wyoming. Previously, he lived in Hellenville, Wisconsin; however, Bowers, Pennsylvania was always home. He was born on April 23, 1960.

Troy was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend, and partner. He is survived by his daughters Kelly Robidas (wife of Nick Robidas) of Douglassville, PA, and Nicole Laird (wife of Felicity Laird) of Wilmington, DE, his son Sam Green of Madison, WI, his grandson Owen Robidas, his brother Jeff Green (wife Margaret), his sister Tracy Stevens (husband Gary), his brothers Austin Green, Scot Adams (wife Leigh Ann), Coray Adams (wife Missy), many nieces and nephews, and his partner Julie Jones and their cat Hobo.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Jane, and Jay Adams.

Troy was known for his willingness to help others and his love for his family. He spent his life working in the construction trade in multiple positions, and at various companies including Norwood, Kohls, and Immel. He was known for his skill and craftsmanship; Troy could build anything from the ground up.

Troy's true passion lay in the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and exploring nature. Troy's family meant the world to him, and he cherished spending time with them whenever possible. He liked to stay busy and could often be found in his pole barn, working on various projects, or fixing something. He didn't keep his love for the Green Bay Packers and Chevy trucks a secret. Troy was always willing to help others, no matter what, and he had the ability to put a smile on anyone's face with his funny stories and witty comments.

A memorial service to honor Troy's life will be held at a later time to be announced. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In his memory, may we find solace in the sound of his laughter, his love for his family, and his passion for the great outdoors. Troy's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, pour a cup of coffee in his honor, and if you listen closely, you might just hear one of Troy's whispered jokes in the wind or his beautiful laugh.

Rest easy, Dad, and may your afterlife be an eternal camping trip with an endless pot of coffee brewing.

For some reason I remember that old green Ford Pinto he drove in the late seventies just before Kelly was born.
