Truett Primos Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 9, 2017.
Truett Scott Primos was born August 15, 1995 to Betsy and Houston Primos of Flowood, Mississippi. He graduated from Jackson Preparatory School in 2014, and then attended The University of Mississippi. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, where many lasting friendships were formed. Expressions relayed from various friends about Truett have been plentiful this week. The one that stands out is “loyal”. “He was kind and hard-working”. “He loved everyone and would make the most of any situation”. “He was determined and what you saw is what you got”. Truett was an avid hunter, fisherman, and wonderful cook. He had an undeniable love for his family and treasured his dog Rex, who was his constant companion. Truett is survived by his parents, Betsy and Houston Primos, his brother and best friend, Houston Primos, Jr., grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Primos, and his grandmother, Mrs. George Truett. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dr. George Truett. Other survivors include his aunts, Annelle Primos, May Alice Blackmon, DeLynn James and Cissy Prewitt and their families. He is also survived by his uncle, Wes Truett and his wife Amanda. Truett was extremely close to his nine first cousins and spent many joyous times with them. Truett will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Mississippi Wildlife Foundation “Super Hunt”, a deer hunt for youth with disabilities. Visitation will be at Pinelake Church, reservoir, from 10-12 on Tuesday, October 10th, with service immediately following.

Houston - Ray and I are praying for you and your family during this difficult time. Thank you for introducing us to your son recently. He was so personable and we so enjoyed getting to visit with him. There are no words to express the pain of losing a child, but know your friends and family will lift you up and God will guide you through the sorrow. May the Lord bless and keep you.....
