Tui McMurtrie

Tui McMurtrie passed away peacefully on March 29th after 98 wonderful years. Tui was pre-deceased by her husband of 55 years, Warren. She is survived by her daughter Diane (Peter), son Ron (Kristin), her two granddaughters Becky and Jasmine and her sister Bonnie. She also leaves behind many dear friends and relatives in the Rutherford and McMurtrie families.
Tui lived most of her life in Port Alberni. She and Warren loved fishing and touring in their motor home. Tui enjoyed travelling the world visiting many countries. She also enjoyed bowling, all sorts of crafts and painting but most of all, Tui was a loving mother and homemaker - her family and their happiness always came first. She will be greatly missed.
A sincere thank you to the staff of Echo Village for their wonderful kindness and care during her last few years. A celebration of Tui's life will be held in the summer. Donations in Tui's memory may be made to The Echo Village Programming Department.
