Tyler Albers was born December 14, 1996, the son of Daniel and Angie Albers. He passed away June 2, 2014, in Berrien Springs, MI.
Tyler grew up in Des Moines until moving to Minburn in 2012. He attended ADM High School. Tyler loved basketball, baseball, hanging out in the Shop room and being with friends. He enjoyed fishing, camping with his family, his pet Labs, and making people laugh. Tyler also loved spending time with his family, especially his brothers, nephew and cousins.
Tyler is survived by his mom and dad, Dan and Angie Albers; brothers, Kyle Albers and Jordan Musselman; nephew, Jordan Musselman, Jr.; grandparents, Cathy Albers, Linda and Richard Bahr; aunts and uncles, Tom and Chris Albers, David and Kristin Albers, Doug Bahr, and Darren Bahr; cousins; great grandma, Erma Niday; close friends, Amy and Luke Asche, and Candy Marcum. He is also survived by, Rene Miller, Bryan Thumma, Brent Thumma and Katie Thumma.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2014, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Community Choice Credit Union, Tyler Albers Memorial Fund.
