It is with great sadness we announce the sudden death of Tyler on Saturday, August 4, 2012, age 17 years. Loving son of Luke (Terry) and Joanne Campbell (Westwell). Dear brother of Cameron, Adam, Aidan and Ethan. Cherished grandson of Herb and Marlene Campbell and Dennis and Carol Westwell. Special nephew to Elaine Eastman and Brad Westwell (Sue). Lovingly remembered by his cousins Harley, Jolene, Cole and Breelynn. Friends may call at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars (East of Hwy 416) on Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Cornerstone Wesleyan Church, North Gower on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Rideauwood, 312 Parkdale Ave., Ottawa, or C.H.E.O. We missed you again today Ty. Cant believe it has been a year since we had you and your smile with us. We still remember all the "I LOVE YOUS" that you shared with us...you taught us a lot Hon. We released a balloon which we all signed...hope it made it to Heaven so you could see it! It has been a year, but it hasn't gotten any easier without you. I think it hurts Dad and Terry most, but Gram and Gram and Harley and Jo still cant get past it! Why Tyler? Why did you have to go? We all look a little more forward to Heaven now that we know you are there waiting for us!

I really miss you Tyler. I'm still not at the point of agreeing that you are gone. I just can't believe this happened and out of all people to you. I wish it was that the good die young, cause we didn't deserve to lose you. But I am sure you are stilling being yourself up there. Watching and taking care of us. But man I miss you so much, through this whole time of you being gone nothing is the same. Everything is so different, and I don't think anything will ever truly be the same again. The only thing I and everyone else has left of you in memories. With that being said I am so thankful that I was able to meet you and actually make memories to look back on. Because if I knew that I didn't have the memories I had with you and had the blessing to have had you once in my life like I once did. I think I might be more torn apart then ever that I let such an amazing person slip away. Tyler you were and still are like family man, you always will be no matter what. Watch over me and make sure I and everyone else aren't meeting you up there anytime soon. Take care of us man, I know you can do that and already are. Love you to no end man. I hope you with me through everything and holding my hand and still being the Tyler I knew and loved while you're up there helping me out. I hope you are happy with the steps I am taking, and know that you are my reasoning and inspiration to while I am take such action in things and people in my life. Yesterday you would have become a man...Mom bought you a cake and we celebrated your wonderful life of memories..but you know that because you helped to knock over a picture of yourself, didn't you. I have for the umpteenth time read all these wonderful messages of concern, kindness,faith,love and sadness! i truly and honestly thought that you weren't going anywhere for so long. and i guess that's why i still do this day do not believe you're gone. it's still so surreal to me. since i was in grade seven you and i talked a lot. we always said we were going to hang out more and it didn't happen, and to be honest i regret that and put that on myself because i always think to myself i could have been there with him and tell him i'm always there for him. i remember when i used to go over and we used to bug each other and i used to tell you that you sucked in COD only to tease you. i miss seeing your face being able to message you and get the most happiness out of it. and now that i didn't take advantage over that i feel guilt. I've sat here and looked at this blank page way too many times, typing and erasing words. Everything's so different without Tyler , you never know how much you depend on someone until they arnt there to lean on. If I could do anything to have him back I'd do it in a second. The sound of his heart beat pressed against my face whenever he'd hug me still plays in my head and forever will. So many memories but still not enough, but they're all we have. No one will ever forget Ty, Ill never forget meeting him for the first time in class, I'd heard alot about him and talked to him a few times, but im so glad i got to know him better this last semester. He lit up the entire room, and was always making jokes. His smile was one of a kind, and he always stood up for me in class. Tyler was an amazing person, i cant imagine him not being with us anymore. I loved working with him and seeing his smiling face every-time he came in. He always wanted to make people smile and laugh and he made every moment a special one. I remember how much he always wanted to win and prove himself, he always wanted to race and get things and I would always tease him he could never beat me, but the truth is he was one of the nest runners i could have ever had on my team at work. Tyler would do anything to help me out and I am honored to have been his friend.

I have wonderful memories of working with Tyler. He always made a day at work better. He was always upbeat and motivated as if being driven by just a love of life. It was his zest for life and compassion for those that made him so special.
His dedication to work shone through most of all in that Tyler would do anything that he could to help someone. It could be brightening someone's day with his contagiously mischievous grin and laugh or by volunteering his help wherever it was needed. It was a good day for everyone to have Tyler working with you because he ensured to keep people smiling and laughing in any and all situations.

Joanne and Family, Tyler was, a linemate, a teammate, a friend of mine, He always had a smile on his face, and was always making me laugh. The small chats we had over the Tim Hortons drive thru speaker, The memories we had on and off the ice will never be forgotten, hockey will never be the same anymore without the Campbell's at the rink.My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family R.I.P Tyler. Joanne and family... No words can even come close to describing the sadness I feel in my heart over your loss. As your friend I am devastated for you. As a mother I am crushed and mortified at the thought of Tyler being gone. I can fondly remember Tyler and Kyle playing soccer together when we all lived in Bells Corners :) He will be missed!:( I pray that you to find the strength that you need to get threw this incredibly sad time and that you and Cameron can lean on each other. God I feel so bad for you both! My heart is broken for you!
