Tyler Martin Peck

Tyler Martin Peck died peacefully at home in Palmdale, CA on June 7, 2025. He was born on August 22, 1947 in Bellefonte, PA to Donald WM Peck and Mary Ellen Shuey Peck. He grew up in Coleridge, NE with his two sisters. As a young man he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served his country in Vietnam. Tyler married Victoria Kneifl Peck on August 9, 1975 and they made a home on a farm in Hartington, NE where they welcomed three children. Later the family moved to Palmdale, CA where Tyler worked in Landscape Maintenance for the City of Palmdale for many years. Tyler had a lifelong love of Nebraska Cornhusker football, as well as being outdoors, fishing, and hunting pheasant. He was accompanied by many different hunting dogs over the years, including his weimaraner Dinah, and he passed on his love of dogs to the kids and grandkids. Whenever he had the opportunity, he always drove the scenic route to enjoy the countryside. Tyler was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Paula (Fred) Hansen. He is survived by his sister Jeanie (Art) Bender, his wife Victoria, two daughters, Sheila Peck and Kristi (Gil) Vance, one son Bryan (Kristina) Peck, and nine grandchildren. A funeral mass was held on June 30, 2025 at Our Lady's Chapel at St. Junipero Serra Catholic Church in Lancaster, CA.
