Tyler PUETZ Obituary
Tyler James Puetz passed away and joined the angels in Heaven on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the age of 6 years. Tyler battled a rare brain tumor (DIPG) for 9 months. His strength touched countless lives making a true difference. Left to cherish Tyler's memory are his parents James and Kelly; little brother and best friend Brayden; great grandparent Elsie Schmiedge; grandparents Douglas and Ann Puetz and Leslie and Judy Powers; aunts and uncles Jeff and Tammy Puetz and children Sara and Thomas, Darryl Puetz and daughter Mackenzie, Scott and Bonnie (Puetz) Fleischhacker and children Kayden and McKena, Carl and Cherie (Puetz) Charest and children Leo, Sam and Ella; and Shawn and Gail (Powers) Stapleton and children Indiana and Tahiti; as well as extended family and friends. A CELEBRATION OF TYLER'S LIFE will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Jeremy Swem officiating. Dear Tyler Puetz family ... I don't know you nor do you know me. I was doing a google search for "Tyler Puetz" ... the name of my son (21)for some information regarding a recent news event and saw this. I am soooo saddened by this to see a young handsome boy having to deal with such a tragedy. I had a brain tumor, cancer, in 1975 at 12 yrs old and now 38 yrs later, am still cancer free. I can't image what my parents went through let alone what your family is going through. So sorry and prayers to you. Rhonda Puetz

Our daughter, Katie was in the same class that your son Tyler was to be in this year at St. Bernadette, so we never really had the privilege of being able to get to know him. That doesn't mean we weren't praying for him throughout this tough year. My husband and I had gone to a grieving class, due to the loss of our Fathers some time ago. We got crystals from this function. We have them hanging in the window of our front door, and anytime the sun shines through them, we have always said in our house that our Dads, and Grandpas are speaking to us through the rainbows that are dancing on the walls from going through these crystals.....may your little gem, say "Hi" to you when you need it the most during the future. We are sorry we were not able to meet him. Take Care!
