udell was the next door neighbor to my grandfather for the longest time and he was a great man. He remebeded us well enough to recognize us when we ran into him at any of his various fishing spots! We didn't keep in touch after my grandfather passed but we always remembered him very fondly.

A good neighbor and friend. He will be missed. Udell has hung out the "gone fishing" sign, and I hope he fills his limit everyday.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

He was my grandpa & even though I lived far away from him most of my life I can remember him always cooking eggs for us when we were over to visit! And he liked to coat them with so much pepper they looked black! It always made us laugh! I am going to miss those peppered eggs from the fisherman!!

He was my uncle and I remember going fishing with him and my father BUB, they would bring their catch home to me and I would gut the fish for some change, i used to love it when he would just show up i knew he always had a fish story to tell. I am going to miss him very much.

Uke was a good friend to my husband, Mont Rasmussen and the family. Mont and Uke were fishing and hunting buddies. I am sorry that I cannot attend the viewing and the funeral because I am in California visiting my daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I saw Uke in Allen's Grocery Store in December with one of his daughters. I reflected on the many wonderful memories that Mont and him had. I will be forever grateful for the many fish that he caught and dropped off at my home. Sincerely, Pauline

My daughter Shalayne and I first met Udell when we spent time caring for his dear wife Mary Lou. Udell was a Dear, Dear friend. We will Never forget his kindness and the many fish he shared. He was Very giving and generous. He was even Gr-pa Udell to Shalayne's son Scott. We are SO sorry for the loss of this Dear, Dear man. We send our sympathy to All who loved him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Udell was our neighbor when I was growing up and still has a special place in my heart even though its been a long time since I have been a little kid at home. I remember the fishing days too, and you can't stop him from fishing!! He will be dearly missed.
