I remember Udo from the summer of 1970 when I visited Vancouver with Marina. Udo drove us through the mountains from Vancouver to Calgary. What an adventure that was! He was such a nice young man.

To all of those who have placed your respects to our Udo thank you and yes Udo will be missed and never forgotten by all who he touched while he walked this plane. Thank you for your thoughts and wishes Karen & Shar

Gone from us but leaving memories
Death can never take away.
Memories that will always linger
While upon this earth we stay.

Udo was a huge part of our lives as kids growing up in Burnaby. My mother, Rita Nystrom, had a great sense of humour which all the kids in our neighborhood loved and she welcome all to our home. Most of the neighborhood kids congregated at our house and mom welcomed them with open arms. She always had a soft spot for Udo and often wondered where and how he was. I really enjoyed his company and often regretted losing touch. I hope his life was full and happy and that his passing was peaceful. Please accept my sincere condolences to your family and know that he will always be remembered with great affection by my sister Sandy & I. I like to think that he's somewhere up there having coffee with my mother and watching over you, his family.
