Dear Family of David Flam, I met David through PAFTY temple youth group. as teenagers and we kept in touch all these years. He was quite special to me during those youth group years. We had deep conversation that were mature beyond our chronological age. I looked forward to his calls and letters. We had a meaningful group of friends; Matt, Lonny, Erin, Holly, to name a few. Later on,we connected through Facebook which was a treat. He was always kind and funny. He would ask how are you and really mean it to the core. Very honest. A few years ago he told me how happy he was that he met the love of his life. I was so happy for him. I just saw today notice of his memorial and I am so sad. I am sure like many others I will remember him fondly. I offer my condolences and heartfelt sympathy to all who loved him. -Melissa Gelb
