Ursula M. Dorna Reunited with friends and family who have gone before her on January 19, 2018 at age 93. Preceded in death by her husband Bernhard, son Wolfgang and daughter Gabrielle. Loving mother of Rainer (Ute) Dorna and Michael (Therese) Dorna. Dear grandmother of Erika (Benjamin) Huey, Jennifer (Ken) Kullmann, Gabrielle Dorna and Christopher Dorna. Great grandmother of Brittany Williams, Lacy Polzin, Alice, Gwendalyn and Friedrich Huey. Further survived by Linda Dorna, other relatives and friends. Ursula appreciated the visits from her friends at David’s Star Lutheran Church in Jackson. Memorial Gathering at Harder Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25 from 3:00 PM, until time of Memorial Service at 5:00 PM. Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Reflections from her son Michael: After a long and full life of 93 years my mom passed away early this afternoon with me by her side. I'm glad I was there to tell her that she had done a good job, we were going to be fine and it was okay. She was, as the doctors said, "very healthy for her age", but a recent fall and flu-like pneumonia/cold was her final undoing. Thank you to my wife's family and our friends for the support, encouragement and including her in activities. She really enjoyed being taken out and getting some wine every week. A very special thanks to the long list of care-givers and "my helpers" as she used to call them. Sandy Lovato, who took care of my mom when she still lived on her own and was often mistaken for her daughter, and my sister! Cheryl and the wonderful staff at Close to Home assisted living did a fantastic job with her and she really improved in attitude and outlook after settling in there over two years ago. I am oddly relieved and at peace. I was so glad I was there for her at the end, even though she probably didn't know it. Nah, she knew. Mom's always know! I'll miss you mom. Every time I raise a glass of wine or Jager, I'll say "Prosit" and think of you!
