VALARIE R. REID  
Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted son Charles and daughter Valora (Barry Sr.); siblings Edna, Ida, Canardo (Blanche), Cardell, Sr. (Jacqueline) and Carlton; grandchildren Brandon, Khalil, Akhayla, and Zuri; additionally, Aunt Lena, "special cousins" Delores, Laverne, Janice and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Reid will lie in state at Asbury United Methodist Church, 926-11th St., NW on Tuesday, November 23 from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. www.stewartfuneralhome.com .

My sincere condolences to the Reid, Bishop and Richardson Families. I love Mom Valarie! My namesake "Darlene." My kids mourn their Grand-Mom. We´ll continue to cherish her love and memories.
