Valerie Baird

On Wednesday, July 8, 2020, Valerie Foley Baird, loving wife and sister passed away at age 62 while battling Covid-19. Val was predeceased by her parents Timothy and Louise Foley and brother Shawn Foley. Val leaves her husband James, a sister Christine Bonham and husband Stan and her sister Janine Cobb and husband Michael. Val also leaves her brother Timothy and wife Kelly and brother Michael and wife Kerri Ann. She is survived by nephews, Jerimiah, Timothy and Shawn and nieces Meaghan, Amanda, Louise, Cassandra, Courtney and six grandnieces. Valerie began her life in Milton while later moving to Marshfield. She graduated from Marshfield High School and earned a BA in Accounting at Salem State College. She later moved to New Hampshire and earned an MBA from New Hampshire College. She worked for Indian Head Bank, Reynolds Tobacco Company and Energy North Propane Company and found her passion for sales. She later moved to Florida and worked for Lazydays where she was a top seller of Safari and Beaver Motor Coach recreation vehicles. Valerie loved spending time with family and loved growing up on the beach with brothers and sisters. She loved swimming, boating, fishing and surfing with them. Val continued her active lifestyle through pheasant hunting, golfing and racquetball. Val had a wonderful sense of humor and her jokes were appreciated by family and friends. She had a passion for cars with her Jaguar being notably her favorite. She will be known for her own sense of fashion and her numerous pairs of sunglasses. Val was spirited, was unapologetically herself and she loved having fun. Hopefully, wherever Val is now- she gets to be that version of herself. Her family will have a private burial.
