In Kingston, Ontario on Monday, April 23, 2001 at Rideaucrest Home after a long illness, in his 88th year. Ralph Whittaker Froats, beloved husband of Lorna Brown. Loved and loving father of Susan Kennedy and her husband Cecil, Kingston and of Dr. Tim Froats and his late wife Sheri, Brockville, Ontario. Proud and loving grandfather of Shaun Kennedy, Kingston and of Mark, Jamie and Sommer Froats, Brockville. Dearest brother of Helen McCellan, Montreal, Quebec and the late Dorothy Cooper, Cobourg, Ontario. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (900 Counter Street, Kingston, Ontario, 613-544-3411). Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Friday, April 27, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Dr. Robert Bater officiating. Cremation. Family and friends will be received on Thursday between the hours of 7-9 p.m. If so desired, remembrance donations to the Rideaucrest Home or the Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
