Valerie A. Wilder-Laug

VALERIE A. WILDER-LAUG, 71, of Celina, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2006, 7:56 p.m., at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford, Ohio. Born July 30, 1934, in Fort Wayne, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Max Paul Boxell and Betty Elliott Sollazzo. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina and former owner and manager of Laug's Cottages. She was married to the late Donald C. Laug. Survived by her sons, Dennis (Jane) Wilder of Celina and Dean Wilder of Baltimore, Md.; daughters, Cathy (Russell) Krick of Convoy, Shari Brooks of New Haven, Ind. and Dale Lehman of Celina; 11 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; father of her children, Carl Dean Wilder of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and brother, Melvin Parker of Mt. St. Helena, Wash. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Lehman; and granddaughter, Kelli McGinnis. Funeral service is 11 a.m. today at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
