My condolences to Tincy and the family.
Vance was a dependable, visionary, stand-up leader whose integrity and optimism drew people to him
-and he did not let them down.
His steady strength, adaptability and reliability in adversity and in prosperity were values I remember.
Dallas and his family have lost a good and faithful friend.
We were all made better by his friendship.

Our love and prayers go out to Tincy and her family. I was blessed to meet Vance when I served in the Texas House. I was equally blessed to later meet Tincy on the State Board of Education. We tell our children that everyone's' dream and goal in life should be to “make a difference in the world.” Vance Miller made a huge and lasting difference. Tincy, may God bless and comfort you and your family.

Vance Miller was a great Texan. He was also the 'silent partner' to his wife Geraldine's to serve on the State Board of Education, at great sacrifice of their personal time together. Vance Miller will be missed.
