James Fletcher

James William Fletcher, 63, of Casa Grande died on May 5, 2012, at Chandler Regional Medical Center. The celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. May 19 at Desert Sky Baptist Church, with Pastor Don Brackbill Jr. officiating. Mr. Fletcher was born on April 15, 1949, in Silver City, N.M., and was a son of William and Consuelo Fletcher. He served in the Army and Army National Guard for a total of 25 years, including tours of duty in Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm. He also was a corrections officer and worked for Corrections Corporation of America in Florence for 17 years. He was a member of Desert Sky Baptist Church and loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed John Wayne movies, the TV show "NCIS" and the Oakland Raiders. Survivors include his wife, Alana C.; three sons, Andrew Swetitch of Tucson, Brian Swetitch and Christopher Fletcher of Casa Grande; and a brother, Edward Fletcher of Madison, Ala. J.
