Velco CESCON Obituary
1928 – 2015
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87. Beloved father of Linda, Eda (Glen), Rita and David (Shirley), treasured grandfather of Christopher, Ryan, James and Brent. He also leaves behind his companion of many years Claudette, as well as her children Lyne (Vincent) and her son Alexandre, and Marc (Elizabeth). Special thanks to the team of doctors and nurses who followed him throughout his illness, and to the wonderful team at the West Island Palliative Care (Stillview Pavilion) for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard- des-Ormeaux, QC H9B 2A6, (514) 685-3344, www.rideaumemorial.com. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Velco was a good friend, a good bocce player and a very sincere and good hearted person, we all loved him here at the bocce club in Kirkland - we will miss him dearly.
