Velma Claire:
Passed away peacefully at Elmslie House, Wanaka, on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Dearly loved wife of the late Chris Huddleston, Omakau. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Sheryl and the late Colin Starkey (Lake Hawea). The late Brent and Robyn (Lake Hawea), Peter and Janine (Geraldine), Bronwyn (Hampden), Ian and Jess (Perth, WA). Dearly loved Grandmother of Richard, Amanda and Hayden, Lisa, Tony and Bridget, NaTell, Kate and Sam, Elliot, Hannah and Joel and their partners and her 11 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Val's life will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, at St Aidans' Church, corner of Shannon and Bantry St, Alexandra, at 2.00pm, followed by interment at Omakau Cemetery at 4.30pm. Cut garden flowers welcome. Messages to: PO Box 13, Lake Hawea 9345.
