Mom was always there just to listen and take in whatever concerns you might have going on in your life. Everyone always looked forward to Sunday dinners at Moms. She was such a good cook as were all her sisters. We will all miss mom, her encouraging words, her sense of humour, and of couse her beautiful smile. Mama, youre home now, and I know youre happy now. Love ❤ you so much!

My Mother, the Matriarch of five generations, loved all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was blessed in 2018 to have an addition of three babies to her family in her final days.

It is sad that she will not be here to share in the happiness and joy of all of the children as they become adults and go on to have families of their own.

My memories of Velma are many, and all include her beautiful smile contagious laugh! She was a precious lady. I will be praying for all my cousins, as they adjust to life without her physical presence. And ill smile as i think of the happy reunion of all those smiling loved ones in heaven. Love to you ALL! Erin brought Emerysn from Massachusetts to visit Mom. This was Emerysns first flight.

In 2018, there were three new additions to Moms family; Emerysn, Zachary, and Jacob.

Mom was so excited about the new babies and loved them all. I know she did not want to leave them.

Mom and Dad met Hazel and Dewey Mahoney when we went to Sarasota, Florida in 1959. Dad and Dewey worked for General Telephone until their retirement and remained Best Friends until there Home Going.

Mom always said that we never had pizza until she met Hazel, who then taught her how to make it. With Hazels four children and our five, we always had great times.

Peace and Love to all.

Aunt Velma was remarkable woman. From nurturing her own 5 children to the numerous nieces and nephews that she shared her wit and wisdom and with, we always knew we could count on Aunt Velma. Good times and bad, times she always had a smile on her face and a "real can do" attitude. She was, after all, part of the greatest generation. We will miss her but are so thankful that we will meet again in a better place. Our love and compassion go out to Autie, Nancy, Michael, Ann, Keith and their families. Love, Candy, Ryan and family
