Miss Mom/aka Ms Velma every day. She would have been elated to see her close family and friends laughing and sharing fond memories at her Celebration. I will be forever grateful that I was born to her and Dad Paul Smith. I hope to carry on her legacy of being a role model and showing unconditional love and respect for loved ones.

Velma and I attended Lakeridge Lutheran Church in Seattle together from about 2005 until 2017. She was a faithful church member and talented quilter. The warm quilts were sent all over the world. RIP, Velma, I was privileged to know you. God bless your family.....

So sorry to hear about Velma. Knowing her was a jewel! She always told me the story that my mother told my dog Shakur to go downstairs for 20 minutes. Then after 20 minutes he came up! Velma said that he was the smartest dog she ever saw. We had a good laugh about that!

My spit fire of a great grandmother. I will miss you every day and I carry and cherish our memories every day. I was so happy you got to meet Ezio and you saw me get married and accomplish so many things in life. I love you grandma
