HERMAN, Vera. Surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 2, 2007. Cherished spouse of Janice Hubscher. Beloved daughter of Eva and the late Bela Herman. Adored daughter-in-law of Arlene and Paul Hubscher. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Martha and Stephen Diamond, Debbie and Robert Eidinger, Eric and Maria Hubscher. Special aunt of Vicky and Barry Diamond, Allison and Mark Diamond, Samantha Eidinger, Ryan and Hannah Hubscher. She will be sadly missed by her great-nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at the Jewish General Hospital; Lucie Tremblay, Dr. Arthur Rosenberg, Dr. Jason Agulnik, the staff of 7 NW and the Hematology and Oncology Departments. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Thursday January 4 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private. Dear Mrs. Herman and Martha,

We haven't seen each other for many years, but I remember your warm and loving family and beautiful Vera so clearly from our high school days - playing on Wagar's sports teams together, me learning Hungarian expressions from you, visiting you in Alburg, Vera visiting my family in St. Donat. I am so sorry that you lost Vera so young, and I will always keep her in my heart, the beautiful, warm, loving, athletic and joyous person I remember. I grieve with you.
