Edward VanDyk

VANDYK - Edward VanDyk, age 88, of Shelby, MI (formerly of Wyoming), passed away on Monday, December 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia VanDyk and sons-in-law, Robert Wilcox and Randy Essebaggers. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Cheri Sturtevant, Patricia (Howard) Brondyke, Terri Essebaggers, Kathi (Tom) Meyer, and Scott (Cheryl) VanDyk; grandchildren, Randy and Brian Sturtevant, Todd (Tammy) Brondyke, Troy (Charity) Brondyke, Casey Wilcox, Stephanie (Chad) Seelye, Allan Rone, and Samantha and Sydney VanDyk; 11 great-grandchildren; one great great grandson; siblings, Robert (Carol) VanDyk, Donna Karsten, Ron VanDyk, and Don (Sue) VanDyk; sister-in-law, Lila Slagh; long term friend and care giver, Carol Vorase; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, (East Building).
