I was Verda's neighbor and didn't even know she was sick or even passed away. I had just spoken to her just a few weeks before she had passed. I am in shock over her passing and so very sad. I loved our talks in our yards and laughing at each other when we would go get our mail in our robes or when she would yell at Leo (Her Dog) when he would be barking at us while doing yard work "LEO STOP" I loved that and I'm going to miss that. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She will differently be missed. RIP Verda, I will come visit your grave site often.

Even though I only knew Verda through SIRs pinochle and Mexican train games some years ago, I was so saddened to read of her death . She was so vital and fun with those twinkling eyes. Though we weren't close it is hard to believe she is no longer part of my life. Verda will always be in my memory.
