Verna A. Fiore, aged 92, passed away on August 16, 2025, in Alva, FL. Born on April 11, 1933, in East Brady, P.A. Verna's life was marked by her deep devotion to her family and her faith.

Verna was the beloved wife of the late Anthony R. Fiore, with whom she shared a profound love and partnership. She is survived by her sons, Anthony M. Fiore and his wife Deborah, and Daniel R. Fiore and his wife Kim; her grandchildren, Lindsay Hume, Daniel Fiore Jr., and Mary Fiore; and great-granddaughters, Riley and Logan Hume. Verna also leaves behind her sister, Virginia DeLuco, and nieces Cheryl Bianconi and Michelle DeMarco. Her parents, Antonio and Mary Ann LaRocca, her sister Vera Bianconi, and her husband Anthony predeceased her.

A woman of faith, Verna was devoted to her parish at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Parish.

A private family gathering will be held to honor Verna's life. Her memory will forever be cherished in the lives of those she touched.

Aunt Verna u will now be together with your husband an sister Vera. I will never forget you. While u lived in Poland for 7 years I had the pleasure to be Aunt Vernas hairdresser. She loved how i did her hair. She always made me feel special an we loved each other's company. We had great conversations an both loved fashion. Rest in Peace Aunt Verna. My deepest an heartfelt sympathy to the family.
