Verne Burdell Bredeson

Verne Burdell BREDESON Verne (Red) Bredeson, passed away on June 9, 2009 in Burien at the age of 87. He was born on January 22, 1922 in Starbuck Minnesota, to Adolph Martin Bredeson and Florence Rosalee Evenson-Bredeson. He served in the Army Medical Corp as staff sergeant in WWll and was stationed in the South Pacific. In 1947 he married Marje McArthur and moved to Seattle Washington where they raised their three children.He worked for 34 years at General Electric in Seattle. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marje McArthur Bredeson, his sister Fran Claussen, his children Greg (Carol) Bredeson, Jody (Kevin) Callan, Kristin "Petey" (Mark) Dunlap, his grandchildren Carrie, Kenneth and Kimberly Bredeson, Spencer, Danita, Curtis and Emily Dunlap, his great-granddaughter Kayla Bredeson, hisgod-children David Love, Tisha Taylor, Carol Proud, Patty Hills and Steve Brown (deceased), and many nieces and nephews.
