Vernon P Allen

Vernon Allen, 61 years old, joined his mom (Jean) and dad (Bill) in the heavenly skies on April 19, 2022.
Raised in Mary Esther, FL, Vern was a football athlete, and graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School. He went on to study at United Electronics Institute in Tampa, FL. This led to a job as a Range Technician at General Instrument/Vitro Government Services, at Eglin AFB. He then took another career field, specializing in computer software engineering, which is what he devoted the rest of his career to. He lived in the Dallas area, working for BancTec, Inc. and the Atlanta area working for Federated Systems Group before eventually making his way back to Florida, working for Megas LLC. He spent the rest of his career at Megas, developing a medical billing solution.
Vernon eventually reunited with a childhood flame (Lori), which is when he moved to Colorado and enjoyed his new family and the mountains. He and Lori recently moved back to Lake Seminole, which is where he will rest. Vern was a big gun enthusiast, love boating and watching wildlife. He leaves behind his sweetheart Lori, his stepchildren, many family members and close friends. We will always remember his compassion, great nature, and love for his cats.
