Vernon Downing, 68, was born in Suffolk, Virginia on December 8,1954 to Fred Downing and Marion Haywood Downing. He was an honor graduate from John F. Kennedy High School.
He loved to watch Jackie Chan Movies and play Dominos.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Downing and Marion Haywood and his five siblings.
He is survived by an aunt, Ophelia James of Suffolk, special cousin, Mona Lisa Godwin and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
