GONZALEZ, Veronica Linda on August 26, 2013. Cherished daughter of Lillian Gonzalez and step-daughter of Marty Bracero. Beloved fiance' of John Green. Loving sister of Markus Mendoza, Dillon Conde, Giovanni Bracero (her adoring godson), and Anisa Gonzalez. Dear niece of Yollanda Chapman, Anna Gonzalez, Robert Gonzalez and Nancy Rodriguez. Loving sister-in-law of Jennifer Ayala and Raiza Gonzalez. Veronica is also survived by her niece, Anneliese Nuñez and cousins William and Jasmine Fernandez, Jaycob Torres, Markus & Isabelle Mendoza, her dear friend, Hazel Lopez and her two cats, Tipsy & Foo Foo. Veronica had many good friends and was adored by them and her patients, who often said that Veronica brightened up their day like a beam of sunshine. Visiting her was the highlight of their day. She will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her. Reposing Thursday & Friday, 2-5 & 7-10 at the CUSIMANO & RUSSO FUNERAL HOME, 2005 West 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 17th Avenue and 45th Street, Brooklyn, NY. October 31st, it's Halloween, on this day my daughter would go out trick or treating with the whole family, just to be with her brothers on this special day. We would go to each home Trick or Treating for candy until we couldn't walk anymore. Since my daughter passed away things haven't been the same. It's been two years and I always wanted Vero to know that I loved her, we all did, I think about you ever day of my life. I always will remember the memories we shared with one another. In each and every memory, I try to see you smiling, I never wanted to disappoint you as a mom. I always tried my best to be there for you. I always believed in you, I always knew you could achieve your goals, I was very proud of you and always will be no matter what. I loved you more than you will ever know. It's not the same since you been gone, my heart is still aching for you, and I know it's an ache that will never go away. I know the only time I'll be able to see your face, smile and touch, is in my dreams. I'm forever greatful that your my daughter, Veronica Linda Gonzalez, Rest in Peace. Today marks 2 years since you've been gone. God knows all the good memories that run through my mind. I miss you Vero , not a day goes by that I find myself thinking about you and so many funny and crazy things we did. I will always cherish that. I'm trying to hold back the tears but it's hard. MY DAUGHTERS CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN
I see the countless Christmas Trees around the world below, With tiny lights, like Heavens stars, reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular please wipe away that tear, for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I hear the Christmas songs that people hold so dear, but the sounds of music cant compare with the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell you the joy their voices bring, for its beyond description to hear the angels sing. I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your hearts. But I am not do far away, we really aren't apart. So be happy for me loved ones, you know I hold you dear, and I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year! We all need a time to grieve quiet time for reflection to sift through memories and come to grips with what has happen. We all need a time for tears, for the one who is now at peace in heaven, but for ourselves as we realize that things will never be the same. We all need a time to just "be," when we can open ourselves to God and let the reassurance of his everlasting love start to heal our broken hearts.
