Veronica Roshelle Granderson

Veronica Granderson, 36, a short time resident of Las Vegas, NV, departed on April 12th, 2016.

She was born July 19th, 1979 in Elgin, Illinois to Phillip Granderson and Philippa Banton. She was raised by her grandparents, Elva Adderley (grandmother) and Orietta Gilbert (great-great grandmother, whom precedes her in her passing).

She found her life partner, Ricky Bussie, at the age of 18 and the two were blessed with four beautiful children; Rickia, Makayla, Jeryimiah, and Baby Ricky (whom precedes her in her passing).

Veronica received an Associate's Degree in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Veronica loved socializing, partying, good food, and spending quality time with her children and family. Her mother, Philippa, was the apple of her eye. She was such a fun and very exciting woman. She was very phenomenal.

Veronica was very proud of her brother, Willie Towner III, serving in the US Army. She was a strong believer in family values.

She is survived by her mother, Philippa Banton; her father, Phillip Granderson; her brother, Willie Towner III; her grandmother, Elva Adderley; her three children, Rickia, Makayla, and Jeryimiah; four nieces; four uncles, Mark, Anthony, Wilfred, and Niven; a special aunt, Carmen Preister; a special sister, TT (Theresa Jackson); and a host of relatives and friends.

Our family gives a special thanks to Derrick and Shondra for being with Veronica through her final days.

Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, April 18th, 2016 at Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas.
