Vibiana Cvetkovic

Dr. Vibiana "Vib" Cvetkovic, age 72, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on September 5th at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME.

Born on January 18th in Philadelphia to the late Samuel and Veronica Bowman, Vibiana dedicated her life to learning, family, and service. She spent her career as a research librarian at Rutgers University in Camden, NJ, where she nurtured a love of knowledge and inspired those around her.

Vibiana will be lovingly remembered by her children Elizabeth, TK, Anna, Michael, Natasha, and David, her eleven grandchildren, and her sister, Melanie. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nick.

Beyond her professional life, Vibiana was passionate about education, community service, and making the world a kinder place. She will be remembered for her compassion, intellect, and unwavering dedication to others. Her patience and seemingly endless font of optimism made her a bright spark in the world.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 29th at Schetter Funeral home in Cherry Hill, NJ. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM, with a ceremony after. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society in Philadelphia, PA, reflecting her lifelong love of animals.
