We will miss Vicki very much! She was kind, funny and made people feel welcome and at ease. I remember Vicki as a "caretaker". My earliest childhood memories of her was of her helping out and taking care of others in the family. Bennie and I enjoyed some of our "honeymoon" time at Lake Santee with her, Bennie, Shannon and Aunt Bertha. They are great memories. I will always remember her pretty, smiling face. Thinking of her family - sincerely, Beth (Turner) and Bennie Goble

There are just no words that can express my feelings at losing my Daddy and Mama, my precious brother, David and now my beloved sister, Vicki, all at such young ages. Vicki and I, in recent years, had agreed to agree yet disagree and had become loving sisters. We shared many tears among the laughter. Last week, while driving to work, my AC was keeping me cool while I listened to the radio. All of a sudden, as clear as this writing is to you, my car suddenly filled with the sweet aroma of the spring flowers that were in Vicki's casket spray. It was as if I were standing beside her holding her hand as I leaned over to take in their enchanting fragrance. It was unmistakable and I knew immediately what the aroma was. For a full 2 minutes, Vicki's presence filled my car. Then it was gone. I cried all the way to work, loving her, missing her but also knowing that she is happy, free and loving all of us as we love her. The memory of her reaching out to me from beyond is one I will cherish from my Big Sis. Shannon, I will always be here for you, Bennie and the kids, just as I promised Vicki I would. Love, Aunt Bonnie

I just want you to know that Vicki represented family to me. She always told me she loved me and called me "baby girl". She was truly special and one of a kind. She has a special place in my heart and she will be missed by everyone who knew her. I sure miss her emails too. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and that Vicki will be smiling knowing that in a small way she has yet pulled the family together.

I have many memories of your Mother and Wife that are wonderful and precious to me. Memories of Vicki, of her as a young, vibrant mother and wife. Bennie, you are so lucky to have been loved as you were. Few men have or will experience the love of a woman like the love that Vicki had for you. And Shannon that love was extended to you and your children. She was so proud of you and your babies and could not have loved you more. We will miss her however when I think of her.I will know that she has a new body in Christ and that her pain is forever gone. Love you and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
