Vickie Doyle Obituary
Mrs. Vickie Ann Doyle, 72, of Greensboro, died Tuesday, November 21, 2018 at her home following an extended illness.
A memorial mass will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church by Monsignor Anthony Marcaccio. Friends will be received following the service in the Simmons Center.
Vickie was born July 8, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Samuel Bonde and Angelina "Jean" Rini Bonde.
Vickie was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church where she was very active in the church choir since 2001. She was previously in the choir at St. Paul's Catholic Church and also in Lansing, IL. Vickie will be remembered for he strong will as well as her loyalty to her close friends. Vickie was very generous with her time, giving back to others in their time of need. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially time at the beach. Vickie was an animal lover and enjoyed attending concerts and plays. She will be missed.
In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Ward.
Surviving are her husband, Michael J. Doyle and her daughter, Wendy Glisson.
The family asks with gratitude that memorials in Vickie's name be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel is assisting the family.
