My sincere condolences to the family & friends of Vicky M
I did not meet her
I knew John & Judith & their cat Luna Notley & know how depressed John became after Judith passed away
I'm sad to inform you in your family member's guest book but didn't have another way to let you know what I believe you folks deserve to hear
Sadly on June 23rd or 22nd, Mr. John Notley passed away inside the mobile home he lived in in Spences Bridge BC Canada
Some of his neighbour friends here that were assisting him after his heart attack about 3mths ago went to check on him & discovered he was passed away & coroner came & took him away after they & the RCMP did what they do when a person is found deceased in their home
The police wouldn't let anyone take is beloved cat to look after her so I am unsure of her fate now

I just found out about this yesterday.
Vicky & I worked together from Winter - Spring, 2013. Upon hearing about what happened, I remembered her gentle warmness, passion, work ethic, and kindness. I drove her home a couple times, and spending time with her was like being with an old friend - she had a gift at making people feel comfortable, and connected.
I warned her, before allowing her to come into my car, that it was pretty dirty, and when she saw the mess, she said, "HAHA! You are right, it's pretty bad." Normally, I'd take offence to someone telling me my car was gross (even if it was true), she was able to make it into a fantastic joke, and we laughed the whole drive back (about things that were not my gross car ;)).
I'm sorry for the loss of this fantastic person from the lives of her family, and friends. The world has also lost this kind, brilliant person.
I was just starting to get to know Vicky, but I did know that she was simply awesome in every respect. My condolences to everyone who was close to her.

I just heard of Vicky's passing. I went to elementary school with Vicky. And I will always remember how the cool, smart girl let me play with her Barbies. I was an odd duck but that did not faze her one bit and back then it meant a lot. I am sad she did not get to stay here long enough. People will miss out on how special she could make them feel. We only got to play for five minutes, but it was enough. Sorry Stathi. My heart goes out to you and your folks.

The light that shines from those who have left here their grief, and love, their unspeakable sadness at the loss of your child still outpouring to you, hopefully is some comfort to those who were/are so close and who loved Vicky so much. I did not know your daughter, but these words say to me that you did a wonderful job raising her. She touched so many lives, including mine with her passing, and has left behind a warmth, not a hole, that spreads to embrace even outsiders like me.

After many thoughts, what came to my mind the most is how you would handle your great loss in moving forward. I may not have known you as well as some who are mourning your loss, but I still want to let you know that you touched my life and I am so sorry to see you go. Yesterday I went to your funeral to pay my respects to your family and to try and make sense of your passing. Many things in this world do not make sense and the fact that you have passed away so suddenly, and at such a young age, is one of those things that make life at times incomprehensible.
Your time on this earth had touched me in many ways and I wanted to let you know that I will always remember it fondly. Whenever I visited Cozmos, you were always there with a smile and an open and friendly personality. When I'd run into you in the city, you were always so joyful and outgoing, exuding confidence and kindness. When my mom told me a little while back that you were looking for work in the non-profit sector, I was more than happy to help you as much as I could. I am so glad I had an opportunity to connect with you. In hind site I wish I could have done more.
My heart aches for the grief your family, your boyfriend, and close friends are going through. It was with great great sorrow I witnessed so much grief yesterday at your funeral. I also witnessed so much love. People really truly loved you. You brought so many people together. It is a testament to what a wonderful person you were.
