NIC AND MARGARET,
SO SORRY TO READ ABOUT YOUR DAD. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM AS ONE OF THE "OTHER DADS" I HAD GROWING UP IN WESTWOOD. I REMEMBER HIS BEEKEEPING AND ODDLY ENOUGH, WHEN NIC CUT INTO HIS WORKBENCH WITH A JIG SAW. (HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I REMEMBER THAT?!) HE WAS JUST SUCH A GOOD GUY
AND SOMEONE I REALLY LOOKED UP TO. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL. JUST A COUPLE OF WESTWOOD OLD TIMERS LEFT IF YOU DON'T COUNT OUR GENERATION.

Vic and Dot are our neighbors. We are very saddened by losing Vic. He was a gentleman of the highest order. Vic was one of a very few men who had a commanding yet calming presence. Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dot and the families. The world will never have enough men like Vic.

Vick Arning was such a good neighbor. My husband, Randy and I loved him. He knew how much I loved gardening, and he shared flowers with me and bought me a small shovel. He is also responsible for Randy and me knowing about a lake lot for sale in our neighborhood and telling us about it. We were able to buy the lake lot all because he told us about it in time. He would kid us and say the lake lot has sink holes on it because he didn't want us to move. Vic was really good to us. I missed him so much when he moved and will surely miss him all the more now. Take care and know that we are thinking of the family. Love, Randy and Jaye Wolfe, 12213 Warrior Trail, Knoxville, TN 37922
