Victor Fromm Obituary

Victor Frederick Fromm of West Hartford died peacefully at the age of 60 on Sunday, October 19, 2014 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 2, 1953 in Montclair, NJ to the late Stella Florence (Zinis) Fromm and Thomas Frederick Fromm. He is survived by his wife, Lillian (Pacheco) Fromm, his daughter Rachel (Sean) Davis, and daughter from a previous marriage Caitlin Fromm. He is also survived by siblings Debra (Robert) Merk, West Orange, NJ, Lora (Dennis) Rafftery, Center City, MN, Cynthia Lohr, Quaker Hill, CT, William (Beth) Fromm Campbell, CA. Victor doted on his four grandchildren Kahari, Tyez, Illana and Nayeli and is also survived by his loving father-in-law and mother-in-law, Julio. E. Muniz, Sr. and Raquel Muniz, his loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, his Marjam family and many dear friends. At the very young age of 11, after the death of his mother, Victor was blessed to be put in the loving care of his foster parents Gerald and Muriel Fanning. Victor also leaves behind eight Fanning "siblings" that embraced him as their brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Karl Lohr, nephew Michael Parker, brothher-in-law, Lawrence Muniz and his foster mother, Muriel Fanning. Victor and Lillian enjoyed a wonderful life together they loved to travel and did so as often as they could. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 10 a.m.at St. Timothy's Church at 225 King Philip Drive, West Hartford, CT 06117.
