Passed away peacefully in her sleep at St Peter's Hospital in her 96th year.

Predeceased by her husband Teodor (1995) and parents Steve and Josephine Pubihushchy. Loving mother to Terry, Mark (Iris), William "Vasyl" and George (Gloria). Adored grandmother to Natalie and Teddy.

Victoria was born in Togo, Saskatchewan along with six brothers and three sisters. Married in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba. She was a hairdresser for 59 years in Banff, Winnipeg and Hamilton. Victoria was an active member of Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Parish and school, UCWL and PTA. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.Special thanks to Dr. Adrian Hornich and the caring nurses at St. Peter's Hospital.

Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday, October 25th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Panachyda will be said at 8:00pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection- 821 Upper Wentworth Street South on Friday, October 26th at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to St. Peter's Hospital or the Ukrainian Social Services in Victoria's memory.
