Victoria LaCour Gaines

Victoria LaCour Gaines, age 80, entered eternal rest on February 20, 2022. She was born to the late Edward and Enola Ray LaCour on November 8, 1941, and was united in marriage to Charles L. Gaines, Sr. on October 13, 1963. Those left to remember many sweet memories are her children: Belinda LaCour Streeter, Charles II (Cynthia) and Michael (Vicki) Gaines; stepsons: Donnie and Michael Bryant; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Victoria is also survived by her loving siblings: Yvonne Plaisance, Edwina Theard, Brenda LaCour Lee (Donald), Edward LaCour (Lurline), Denise LaCour, Sharon Collins (Rodney), Glenn LaCour and Keith LaCour (Doris); and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Enola Ray LaCour, sister Enola LaCour, son-in-law Ronnie Streeter and devoted friend Howard Bryant. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 5, 2022, for 1:30 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA.
