Sarah Hill-Wilhoite Obituary
Nashville, TN
Passed away January 8, 2015.
A retired educator, she was associated with several organizations, including National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho, Retired Teachers Association and many more. She was an active member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church, where she sang beautifully in the Sanctuary Choir and worked in many other organizations within the church.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Earl J. Wilhoite; daughter, Marquinta Moorer; son, Anthony Wilhoite; grandsons, Tony Moorer & Austin Wilhoite; great-grandson, Isaiah Moorer; sister, Harriette (Bob) Moore; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be Thursday, 12-6 p.m., at the funeral home. Visitation will be held Friday, 11-12 Noon, with the funeral to follow at Pleasant Green Baptist Church, 1410 Jefferson St. Rev. E. Christopher Jackson, D. Min., Pastor/Officiant.
Interment, Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Wilhoite, Marquinta and Anthony my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God continue to comfort and give you peace during your time of loss. Mrs. Wilhoite lived a great life and I'm so glad I had a chance to talk with her during my visits to Nashville.
