Vincent Aleman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 12, 2017.
Vincent Aleman, 24 years old, of Houston, Texas, passed away February 10, 2017. Vincent was born in Houston, Texas on November 17th, 1992 to Fidel and Ann Aleman. He was a graduate of Cypress-Woods High School. He played Varsity football for the Wildcats, and his teammates lovingly referred to him as Vinny.

Determined to continue his education, Vincent pursued a 4-year university degree attending Lone Star college and transferred to Texas A&M after 2 years. Whoop! He fully embraced the Aggie lifestyle in College Station and immediately joined the prestigious Corps of Cadets becoming a member of Squadron 4, "Flying Aces". Vinny became a chaplain while in the Corps, and devoted his time to the spiritual growth and development of his fellow cadets to create a cohesive unit. He successfully completed his Bachelors of Science in Spatial Sciences in 2016 from Texas A&M University. His ambition was to serve his country and join the United States Armed Forces as an officer.

Vincent had a passion for working out and always maintained a disciplined, healthy lifestyle to enhance his mental and physical performance. When Vincent wasn't in the gym or playing paintball he made the most of his brief time with us by helping to create some of the most beautiful memories with family and friends. He had the ability to make light of any situation which endeared him to all. His infectious laugh and smile could light up the room. To say he was the life of the party is an understatement. Vinny never missed an opportunity to dance like no one was watching, or to show off his voice singing along to his favorite songs. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Vince should rejoice in the fact that they had an opportunity to know first-hand what it's like to be in the presence of one of Gods truly amazing creations.

Vincent Aleman is survived by his parents Fidel and Ann Aleman. Brother, Fidel Aleman III, wife Lorie, their children Fidel IV, Fernando Grimaldo, Alfred Grimaldo, Lauren Aleman, Cristian Grimaldo, and Ava Aleman. Sister Monica Aleman, her children Marcus Castro, Aliyah Castro and Alannah Cantu. Sister Jessica Vega Syptak, husband Donnie, their children Evan, Matthew, and Miles. Brother Arthur Vega, and his son Tristan. He is also survived by his grandmother Aurora Aleman and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Vincent is also survived by the love of his life, and anchor Elena Selva III.

You had a heart like no one I've ever met before. When I had a hard time in school with how I was treated you were always there for me and reminded me of my worth and remained a great friend I could always count on, my only regret is not catching up recently to see how things were going. You always had a smile on your face and had a laughter that will never be forgotten. Even after graduating and us catching up your persona never changed as you continued to grow into this man. My heart hurts for you, your family and girlfriend even if I never got the pleasure of meeting her. You were loved by many. You are gone but never forgotten.

May you look down on us from heaven sending happiness at a time like now.

As a mother of four I can not imagine the pain and sorrow his parents and family are feeling. I have seen my niece Elena's pain first hand and pray that you have comfort in knowing that he is at peace and watching over his loved ones. God bless and give you comfort in this time of sorrow that I can not comprehend and hope not to ever.

Vincent was a beautiful human being. He had a sense of making someone feel so comfortable and loved by the way he spoke and treated them. I met Vincent in the 9th grade. I was terrified to start high school but meeting this quirky kid in photo who said "Yo! I like you necklace, nice bling" made me feel that much better. Over the years we crossed paths several times. My last memory with Vincent was in Austin in 2016, and perhaps my favorite. While everyone got ready we cooked in the kitchen and he listened to my problems, offering advice. He just listened and cared so deeply about others in a way that is inspiring. I remember after we finished cooking and called the girls to come eat, Elena walked into the room and his eyes immediately lid up and he ran to her and yelled "I have the most beautiful, hottest girlfriend". (Elena remember that cute romper you wore? We sat on the floor and debated between two of them, I guess you picked the perfect one) It was a privileged to meet someone with so much light and love in them. I feel deep pain for your loss and will continue to pray for you all.
