Sending my heartfelt condolences to Sumiko for her loss of beloved husband and to the rest of the Hwang family. I remember Mr. Hwang's quiet but very gentlemanly kind manner so apparent of his faith. May God's comfort be yours as you go through this difficult time. I am also sending my love and prayers especially to Sumiko.

I first met Vincent while dating his sister Elena in New York in early 1970.
He is kind and gentle, but more importantly he helped me approaching his sister in many subtle ways. When I became a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, he was one of the very early clients; and one of the best clients. He has never complained and he said a lot of good things about our services.
I know that he has engaged in Taiwan independence movement at a very early stage, confidentially. In many occasions, I saw him carried an expensive camera during Taiwanese anti KMT demonstrations. Every-time when he call me from east coast, most times they were related to Taiwan politics. At his final days, we have shared a lot of Taiwan Independent movement progress on his bedside. I missed you greatly, Vincent!

Vincent has been my role model ever since I was little. I have followed his footstep to enter National Taiwan University, baptized as a catholic, and coming to USA to attend Kansas state University. He is the best brother I can ever asked for. He is very knowledgeable, love reading and resourceful. Whenever I have question, he would go beyond his length to find the solution. He is gentle, kind, patient, understanding, loving. He is very low keyed, not fighting for fame. He is a good listener and very reasonable person. During our last visit, he agreed with me that he is going to a better place where there is no pain and where our parents and brother Newton will greet him with open arms. I will never forget his smile when I said goodbye, " We will meet again no matter where"! This time he is ahead of me again to return to our heavenly father. Dear Vincent, please be assured that we 4 sisters will take care of Sumiko.

What a wonderful legacy he leaves for his family. He had a rich life and is now at peace with his Savior. May you find comfort in the days ahead.

I have always remembered Mr. Hwang's gentleness and faithful service at Fair Lawn. To Mrs. Hwang, Richard, Jeff, and Julie: I pray you may know the Lord's presence as you grieve; that you know He grieves with you but He is also welcoming home a faithful servant/son.
