I met your dad in 1989 when he came to my place of work (prison, I was the Chaplain)and told me that he also is a Vincent Marandino. He looked a lot like my father and I found out that we are from the same province in Italy. I still have family there. I regret that i did not get a chance to see him again. I tried to find him several times but i forgot until i saw the obit that he spells his last name with one "r" and we spell ours with two "r's. No wonder i could not find him with name search. I did enjoy my time with him and he, like my father i'm sure were wonderful dads. I am a minister and have been a chaplain in both prison and now at KSB Hospital in Dixon, Illinois. May God bless you and your family. From your distant cousin: Rev. Dr. Vincent (Vinnie) Marrandino. 815-285-5883 my office at the hospital. Please feel free to call sometime.

Annette and Loretta, I was so sorry to read about the death of your Dad. I had intended to attent the visitation and mass today but I forgot to write it down and therefore didn't follow through.
Your Dad stayed so active after retirement and I would see him at Wesley Willow when I visited Methodist residents as I worked as a parish nurse. I still can remember visiting each of you in your family home. I loved working with you Mom who loved your Dad and you so much. I rejoice now that he is in her arms and others who have gone before him. Rest assure I will pray for him and each of you and your family as you remember him and the great values he taught you and you can teach you loved ones. With all my love, Kathy Beaufils
