Capobianco, Vincenza (Patalano)-- Of Somerville, passed away on Sunday October 23rd surrounded by her loving family. She was 82. 


Born and raised in Gaeta, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Carlo and Concettina (Simeone) Patalano. 


Beloved wife of the late Damiano Capobianco who died in 2017. She was the devoted mother of Carl Capobianco of Somerville, James Capobianco of Somerville, Maria Rita Capobianco of Arlington and Joseph "Joe" Capobianco of Burlington. The cherished grandmother of Joseph Manuel Capobianco of Woburn. The dear sister of Andrew Patalano of Woburn, and the late Carmina Valente, Alessandro Patalano and Cosmo Patalano all of Gaeta, Italy. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 


A Funeral procession will be held on Monday October 31st from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) at 11:00AM.


Calling Hours will be held Monday morning October 31st from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine Church 179 Summer St., Somerville at 11:30AM. 


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. 


Services will conclude with Vincenza being laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
