Violet May Devlin-Percy

Devlin-Percy, Violet May 89 12/24/1921 03/15/2011 Born in North Bend, Neb., to May Elizabeth Tubbs and Earl Franklin Glenn, Violet was the third of five children. She was raised in Nebraska, lived in Denver and Los Angeles and spent most of her adult life in Portland. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard (Joann), Jack (Kathleen), Randy (Carolyn) and Cherry (Dave); sister, Vula; brothers, Vernon and Robert; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, who thought of her as "big grandma"; numerous nieces and nephews; and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Glenn; granddaughter, Linda; former husband, William Devlin; and husband, Tom Percy. There will be a celebration of her life at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, in Oak Hills Presbyterian Church, 5101 S.E. Thiessen Road, Milwaukie.
