Violet Tweed Obituary

We remember Violet Tweed of Phoenix Arizona, who left us on February 20, 2025 at the age of 78. Vi had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed Camping and fishing, she also loved all kinds of music and dancing to the Polka. Vi was born in Johnstown PA, the daughter of John and Catherine Yauneridge, South Fork, PA. She is survived by sisters Marian (Edward) Alexander, Silver Spring, MD and Helen Petrigac, Cleveland, OH. She leaves behind nieces Karen (Mike) Callison, Columbia, MD, Patty (Bob) Gilbert, AZ, Sue (Jason), Mertus, Grafton, OH, nephews Alby (Mary) Petrigac, Cleveland, OH, Gregory Alexander, Ellicott City, MD, Marty (Lisa) Yauneridge Dewey, OK and Mark (Lisa) Yauneridge, Ochelata, OK.
She will be missed by all of her great nieces and nephews (Patrick, Kristin, Blake, Jeremy, Shasta, Dustin and Dalton) as well as her great great nieces and nephews.
Vi also leaves behind her dear friend Connie (Dave) Butts, Mericopa, AZ.
Vi was preceded in death by her brother George Yauneridge (2024).
There will be a private service at the request of the deceased.

43 years of friendship. So much fun. We loved camping up north. Every so often we would meet up at a nearby casino and spend the day. We would get to laughing so hard over the craziest things. Sure going to miss you my best friend. Thanks for all the precious memories.
