Violet WALTERS Obituary
WALTERS, Violet (formerly Hinz)
March 13, 1942 - September 22, 2017
Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Mrs. Vi Walters of Gunn, AB was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour, on Friday, September 22, 2017. Vi was 75 years of age.
Vi will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alf; children: Monica (Mike), Kevin (Barby), Renee (Bob), Michelle (Steve), Helen, Barb and Dave; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many foster children. Vi is survived by her brother Ernie (Gail) Jeschke.
She was predeceased by her parents Julius and Martha Jeschke and her first husband Bill (Wilhelm) Hinz.
A visitation will be held on Friday September 29, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311-91 Street Edmonton, AB.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Pentecostal Assembly, 2821-109 Street Edmonton, AB.
Interment to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Bloomsbury Cemetery.
Donations may be made to HOPE Organ Donation Fund, 11402 University Avenue Edmonton, Alberta T6G 2J3.

Had the blessing of meeting Vi at Miller Crossing when her mom was there. Vi was a beautiful, caring, and thoughtful person, who was just always there when a hug was needed. She had a smile to brighten up any room. I am grateful for having known Vi, and grateful she kept in touch with me. The world is a better place for having Vi share her time with us. God bless her family especially during this difficult time.
