I trained with Virgil for a few months in Rockdale, TX as a new field servive engineer for Copes Vulcan in 1980. We had dinner one night at the motel restaurant with a guy who was a POW as a Marine during the Korean conflict and he told us a hilarious story of a trick they pulled on their guards.

We think of Virgil often, remembering the good times we had together, his sense of humor. He will never be forgotten.

We all know that the first thing Virgil did when he got to the gates of heaven was to take a look around and see just what "needed fixin'". Always the true handyman, heaven will never have anything in disrepair with Virgil around. Virgil always treated his extended Louisiana friends like family. Love & prayers to all of the Hahn family.

Dear Hahn family,
I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Hahn's passing. I will always remember the fun times we had on our many campouts in East Texas and hikes in Colorado. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone at this difficult time. Thanks for the memories, Mr. Hahn.
