Virgil Hoffman Obituary
Age 87, of North Canton died Monday April 5, 2010, at his residence. He was born March 1, 1923 in North Canton, to the late Otto & Amelia (Rothacher) Hoffman. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II .
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Elois, Brothers; Harold , George, & LaVern Hoffman, and a son Ray Fix. Survived by children; Michael (Cindy) Spence of Mansfield, Cindy (Danny) Tan of North Canton, Patricia (Doug) Davis of North Canton, Fred (Rita) Fix of Orrville, Brothers; Otto Hoffman & Elden (Rosalie) Hoffman, Sister; Barbara (Ralph) Fetzer; Seven Grandchildren and Eight Great- Grandchildren. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & a host of friends and neighbors & a special dog ' Molly'.
Virgil will always be remembered as a wonderful Dad & Grandpa, who enjoyed spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held 11:00a.m., Wednesday, April 7th at Karlo- Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road N.W. Canton with Chaplin Jim Scalf officiating. Friends will be received two hours prior (9-11 AM) at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Stark County, 3611 Whipple Ave. N.W. Canton, Ohio 44718.
